Climate Negotiations Model at Catholic University of Lille
On March 15, Leonardo Massai, co-founder of Climalia, ran a climate change negotiations simulation at the Catholic University of Lille.
French students, representing 13 countries under the UNFCCC, were tasked to discuss and agree on the new climate change regime with the objective to simulate the final days of negotiations of the Paris Agreement.
The final document produced by participants, simulating a “Draft Conclusions proposed by the President” at COP21, is available below:
